If anyone has seen a recent social profile update (read facebook, orkut ...) of a person who is staying in the US of A for a few years and now made a short trip back home (India), there is a strong possibility of a bunch load of photos in the update. I am not a critic .. even I, myself have done that. The question to ponder is that why would anyone take more photographs of small things which are just part of everyday life back home and highlight them ?
Examples -
Colourful signs on the backside of trucks.
The colours of rural India.
Simple things like a painted red post office box on the road
Autorickshaws.
Street side food
Bullock carts
Architecture
... and many more.
I think we realize the uniqueness and the diversity that India has to offer only when we observe it from a distance. The "small things" which were considered to be a sign of a "developing" country are now the "flavours" of an Incredible India !!!
